Some fears are real some are not and yet one type of fear is relevant whether you choose to accept it or not. It is often said that; Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat. So the Fear and Doom of History Repeating itself is one of those real fears and thus we recently discussed this in our Online Think Tank.

One Think Tanker stated; wow, the sum of all fears. Yes, doomed to repeat yet another cycle in human history. That is a very potential eventuality. Luckily it is something that we can do something about; if we can control our fears, the mass media hysteria and consider the importance of non-linear thought to solve those issues that plague mankind.

One recent person in an online discussion stated; “I've lived through damn near all of my fears, fears that most of you would not have survived. Some I faced willingly, most were forced upon me. The one thing I found for myself is that any fear I endure, no longer affects me, but that fear can gain new life when I see that my children and other loved ones may experience first-hand the fears I once endured. So what do I fear? That history will repeat itself, only on a larger scale, and with names near and dear to me.”

I ask you to consider this fear of History Repeating and think of the consequences and choices you make. Nevertheless, there are times when those choices must be made and dealt with; failure to act decisively is the same as playing Russian roulette. We live in interesting and challenging times, someone once said and that is indeed the truth.
