It has been proven that Google will spider your site faster if you have a Google Sitemap. But is one site map enough? Why should you have at least 2 Site Maps.

Most Web Sites can be found with at least 2 Addresses some with 3. As an example you can type in Yahoo.com orhttp://www.yahoo.com and arrive at the same web page. Some Web Pages also use a subdomain which would give them a 3rd way to be accessed (ewguru.com/hbiz or the subdomain hbiz.ewguru.com)

When you submit a Sitemap to Google you can only have 1 format of your web site in each Sitemap. Hence if you want Google to index all possible formats of your web site you need 2 have a Sitemap for each version.

Step 1 Create a Google Site map Account

Go to the following website and click on create an Accounthttps://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/login

Step 2 Create Your Site map

Step 3 Upload your Site map to Your Web Page

Upload Your Sitemap to your web page

Step 4 Add Your SiteMap to Google

Log In to your Google site map account and add the URL of you Site Map. Be sure and check back a few hours later to make sure it uploaded correctly.https://www.google.com/webmasters/sitemaps/login
