Leftist Colombian rebels say they plan to turn over the bodies of 11 lawmakers killed after being held hostage for more than five years.

The Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, known as FARC, says the lawmakers were shot in the crossfire during a June 18 rescue attempt by unidentified troops.

Colombian President Alvaro Uribe accused the rebel group of murdering the lawmakers.

A rebel spokesman Paul Reyes says plans to hand over the remains of the 11 lawmakers depends on easing of military pressure in the area of the killings. It was not clear exactly where the lawmakers died.
