Stun Them With Your Headlines And The Rest Is History

Your headline is the very first thing that your target audience sees when they browse your postcards and business brochures. And if truth be told, your headline is actually the first phrase or sentence that will provide your target clients with that very first impression. And you know what they say, first impressions last.

I don’t need to remind you then that your headline is crucial in creating a successful postcard printing and business brochures. Whenever you see a great headline, most likely that that marketing collateral would attract customers like bees to a honey pot or flower nectar, whatever is appropriate.

Anyway, what I’m trying to say here is that whenever you want to stun your audience, give them a headline with a punch, and the rest, as they say, is history.

Your headline is the very first group of words that your target audience will read. This is actually moot as far as creating marketing collateral goes. To attract attention, you need to have a good headline to compel your target readers to actually stop what they’re doing and read what you have to say.

But this is not the case with most postcard printing and business brochures. Most of the time, what we see is the name and location of the store right there at the top.

We know you want to be known and we know that you want your readers to remember your company’s name. But reality check here – your readers don’t care really. People are such a selfish lot. They care for one thing and one thing only – themselves. They don’t care if you have such a lovely name; as long as you give them what they need then you’ll get them to look for your name even if you put it at the back of your material.

Your headline grabs the attention of your target audience.
Your headline is your element that would deliver the “oomph” you need in your message. You don’t just say what you got to say; but you tell it with conviction and with a punch. And contrary to the adage, you don’t save the best for last. You get it in front; at the very first page and on top. Exactly where your headline should be.

The best way to put oomph to your headline is to identify what makes your offer unique and distinct. When you’ve done that, put it right at the top of your advertisement and make sure that you print it in big, bold, and colorful letters.

Your headline is focused and targets a specific market.
Be specific. That’s how it is if you want to get attention. When you want to get more leads, focus your attention to a specific market. Remember these people - Nobody, Somebody, and Everybody? Don’t try to capture Everybody’s attention and then hope that Somebody would take your offer seriously. Nobody would probably ignore what you have to say because Anybody could offer what you can offer. So what makes you different?

To double your sales, try sorting out those actual buyers and market to that specific group. The more focused your headline and message, the more likely that you’ll get a definite sale.

Your headline should KISS.
Keep it short and simple. That’s the tried and tested principle for marketing your business. Even with your headline you have to develop it in as few words as possible, without sacrificing the clarity and content of your message. A useful tip: if you can’t say it in a few words, try using a sub-headline. That way you can get the gist of your message in your headline and then provide a linger version in your sub-headline.
