How to Quickly Start a Successful Home Based Business That Lasts a Lifetime
Nathan Rittes here to discuss some strategies of building a foundation of Leads with Target Market Traffic.
For all of you out there currently pursuing the dream of building your online business or even using online strategies to help build your offline business; the biggest thing all of us needs is traffic.
So here's the catch; You can have all the traffic your heart desires, but if it isn't targetted... it's all simply pointless.
Trust me! I know.
Before realizing that my efforts of working 'hard' and 'not' smart were ruining my hopes of making even a penny in sales, I was wasting a hefty budget in traffic generation companies that were sending me a flood of people that couldn't care less about what I had to offer!
I think after investing in approximately 2.2 million (Yes million!) impressions, I had less than 5 opt-ins and no sales!
To make things worse, at the end of the month I was charged with a bandwidth overage fee that cost double the monthly amount of what my hosting fees were (I had a little presentation that was being served out locally whenever someone visted my page)!
Sure, marketing is a numbers game and the greater your traffic, the better odds you have with conversions... BUT, if you haven't done your research and followed the proper approach to acquiring such traffic, you'll simply end up where you started - With no leads at all!
First and foremost, you have to determine who you are targetting.
In the case of Network or Internet Marketing, you primarily have two streams of traffic that you should target and capitalize on.
The first target would be existing Network or Internet Marketers.
The reason for this is because such individuals already know the market. They know what to do and they know what to expect.
Some of them may still actually be invovled with a lucrative opportunity but are currently seeking new opportunities to build multiple streams of income.
To capitalize on this market would help you tremendously, because you would be building a downline of 'like-minded' individuals that already know what they're doing. At the same time, it is more than certain that they are in contact with associates that have similar businesses and backgrounds who are also looking for new and exciting opportunities to get invovled with!
As for the second type of target, you would be looking at those who either love or need the product and/or service that you have to offer.
If you have what people are looking for, then you have an avenue to focus your product or services to this specific niche.
Present yourself in a manner where people have the opportunity of seeing what solution you have to provide them.
For example, if you have product that relates to health and wellness you can allocate your efforts towards those that are looking for ways to boost energy... or maybe something to lose weight (Most people out there are usually trying to lose extra holiday pounds or are preparing for a sunny beach vacation!).
Ultimately, if you aren't targetting the right people you won't succeed.
For example, it's like trying to sell dog food to cat owners! You can have the best dog food in the world, but there's no way you'll get a cat owner to buy from you even if you gave free samples away.
You also have to understand that not everyone out there needs what you're offering.
Don't try shoving your product into the face of potential prospects, by bragging that your product is the next best thing since sliced bread. Just as a cat owner doesn't have a dog... there are people out there that don't have TV's or aren't even plugged into the Internet... so selling them on your online shopping site wouldn't seem relevant to their lifestyle.
Be professional and let the prospect decide! It helps build better rapoort... and if they don't join your opportunity, maybe the prospect can become a repeated customer.
Another good thing to do is research your competition. Find out what they're doing and how they are managing to convert their traffic. You can always find golden nuggets from others that are doing the same thing as you, or who are more established than you.
The Internet is a big place... and we can always learn how to implement new and exciting things if we do enough research!
Overall, do your due diligence. Don't waste time beating down the wrong door.
When you know who your target is, you'll definitely attract the right type of leads and also convert people into sales even if your traffic isn't large enough.
Until next time...
Peace!
