Carrot Almond Halwa

Ingredient:   
250 Gram Carrot

200 Gram Almonds

    ½ Litre Milk

     2 Tablespoons Ghee

     4 Tablespoons Sugar

   25 Pieces Raisins

      1 Pinch Saffron Stands

 


Method :


  • Wash the carrots, peel and then cut into small cubes.
  • Wash the almonds, soak then for 5-6 hours, peel and cut them just like the carrots.
  • Add the carrots to the milk and cook on the gas. Keep stirring after every 2 minutes.
  • When the milk reduces to ½ the quantity, add almonds, ghee and saffron strands. Cook for 5 minutes. Keep stirring continuously.
  • Add sugar, raisins and stir till it thickens.
  • Transfer in a dish and serve hot.
