Almond Halwa

Put all the soaked almonds into warm water, peel and keep putting them in cold water prevent them from turning yellow.

Almond Halwa

Ingredient:  
 
250 Grams Almonds
  150 Grams Ghee
  200 Grams Sugar
       1 Cup Milk
       2 Pinches Saffron Strands
       1 Tablespoon Pistachios (Chopped)
 

Method :
  • Wash the almond thoroughly and soak for 7-8 hours.
  • Put all the soaked almonds into warm water, peel and keep putting them in cold water prevent them from turning yellow.
  • Grind the almonds coarsely.
  • Cook the almonds in ghee in a kadai on low flame.
  • When the almond paste turns light brown, add milk and 1 cup water. Add sugar when it thickens.
  • When the halwa starts leaving the sides of the kadai, switch off the gas.
  • Transfer in a dish, garnish with saffron strands and pistachios.
