Make it into a ball shape again. Fry them on a low flame till dark brown and keep transfering it in the sugar syrup.

Gulab jamun
Servings: 25 pieces 
Cooking  Time: 45 minutes
 
 
Ingredient:    
   ½    Kg khoya   
750   Grams sugar  
  50   Grams arrowroot powder
     2   Small cardamoms
     1   Saffron strands (melted)
   25   Pistachioss                                                                                                                                                             
           Ghee to fry
                             
 

Method :
  • Knead the khoya and add arrowroot in it so that there are no lamps.
  • Mix cardamom with saffron (do not mix it with the khoya).
  • Mix sugar in 2 cups water and prepare a syrup of  ½ thread consistency.
  • Divine the khoya in to 25 parts and make balls of it.
  • Flatten each ball and put saffron, cardamom powder and a pistachio.
  • Make it into a ball shape again. Fry them on a low flame till dark brown and keep transfering it in the sugar syrup.
  •  Gulab jamun are ready after an hour. serve them hot or cold as desired.
