Chamcham

Ingredient:
2 Litres cow-milk’s cottage cheese
400 Grams sugar
250 Khoya
4 Cups water
1 Teaspoon rose water
1 Teaspoon powdered sugar
Method :
- Mix the powdered sugar in cottage cheese and gently knead with your hands.
- Prepare 15 long and oval shaped chamchams.
- Dissolve sugar in water. Strain it and cook on the gas.
- When the sugar syrup start boiling, put on chamcham one by one in it. Cover the kadai with a lid and cook for 10 minutes and then switch off the gas. The chamcham will fluff up.
- Keep the chamcham in the sugar syrup for 2-3 hour and then put it in the refrigerator.
- After 3 hour remove it from the refrigerator and take out the chamcham from the sugar syrup. Mix rose water in it.
- Sieve the khoya very finely and roll the chamcham in it.
