Jalebi

Ingredient:
250 Grams flour
2 Tablespoons rice [coarsely ground]
4 Tablespoons curd
2 Cups water
250 Grams sugar
1 Pinch saffron
7 Cardamoms (powder)
1 Tablespoon pistachios (chopped)
1 Pinch lemon colour
2 Tablespoons gram flour
2 Tablespoons oil
Ghee to fry
Method :
- Sieve the flour and mix it with curd and flour to form a batter.
- Place this batter in a warm place for 8-10 hours.
- Add rice and colour in the batter 2 hours before preparing the jalebi
- Mix sugar in water. Boil till it forms of 1\2 thread consistency and add saffron and cardamom powder in it.
- Add gram flour and oil in the batter. Mix well.
- Warm ghee in the frying pan.
- Fill batter in the jalebi making bottle and make jalebi shapes in ghee through it. cook form both sides and remove when golden brown.
- Put the jalebi in the sugar syrup and remove after 5 minutes.
- Garnish with pistachios and serve.
