It's vital therefore
That you get right with you.
If need be
Sort fully through
Your unfinished business
Before you curse and dismiss
Yourself and others
Despising sisters and brothers.

Now back to me
And your miniscule mentality
I will have you to know
That I stand confidently
In my own skin to be
Me, myself, and I
No more can futile opinions
Make me cry
Because I know my why
Why I am here
I know my who
Who I am
Plus I know Whom I serve
From my Maker I'll not swerve
Neither disobey, nor walk away
He uplifts my head day by day
Giving me new life
And words to say
Most importantly
In Christ my identity is secure
By His blood and Spirit
My heart has been made pure
By His holy Word
My heart takes rest and is sure.

What shall I say therefore?
I deeply love my Creator
Who created me in His image
Therefore my name and character
Nobody shall disparage
For I love me
Have no need for insecurity
Neither those who belittle me.
Criticize me constructively
That I will embrace wisely
But don't antagonize
Or seek to demoralize
For my identity and destiny
I fully and marvelously realize
I love me! I love me! I love me!
Hence the more you despise
The more I self-actualize
And shine like the sunrise.

Let's have a celebrate me moment!
Come on now, don't be hesitant.
Bless yourself and be resilient
Bounce back from your mess
When others treat you less
Are quick to diminish
Brush you away, push you aside
