Human beings can know the truth with certainty through observation, logic, and faith. If we are made in the image of God, perhaps a connection to Him is encoded in our DNA. In fact, recent research has suggested that it is in our DNA to seek and follow to a single God. If we seek a connection to God, and read His Word in the Holy Bible and learn to listen for His voice in daily life, expressed in a particular pattern and personality in the evens of nature and events, then we can be confident that we know in increasing amount of the truth created by God.
The concept of right and wrong, and the conscious, is built into human DNA in order to keep the species from destroying itself. In fact, the conscience is also part of the soul and is located in part of the brain that is able to develop at the age of 26 weeks after conception. This is an argument purported by some in the medical profession that a fetus is not human until the 26 week post conception.
If we are connected to God through our DNA, the sense of right and wrong are being relayed to us though the Creator along that connection. Sociopathic individuals have no conscious and do not care about right and wrong. It is found that they were affected negatively in the first 90 days post partum by adverse people, situations, or interferences that produced a lack of bonding with their mothers. It is thought that the brain chemistry and structure for conscience is destroyed in these individuals.
