Manchester Parking guide

I’ve had plenty of opportunities over the last few years to familiarise myself with every aspect of Manchester International Airport. Mostly, I’m there on business and with a long flight ahead of me. I want to spend the least amount of time arranging my transportation to and from the airport and as much time enjoying the business class lounge as possible.
There are a number of companies offering long-term parking at the airport and I’ve used most of them at least a couple of times. It’s true, parking at the airport is never going to be cheap, although if you use the internet to book in advance, you can usually get a bit of a deal.
A lot of the parking companies offer similar services and draws, such as straightforward check-in procedures and good quality security. For the most part, choosing a place to park comes down to which direction you’re arriving from and how much you want to spend.
If you have the cash, treat yourself to the chauffeured parking service. Arrange a time in advance and someone will meet you when you pull up at the terminal. You can unload your bags and hand the keys over for them to park your car. When you get back, you simply give them a call while you are waiting for your luggage and they will meet you with your car outside the terminal. Global Chauffeur and Meet and Greet Parking Manchester Airport are the two companies that provide this service.
Carminder 2, APH and Premier Parking are the closest places to the airport. Carminder 2 is only 3 minutes away. APH is 5 minutes away and has indoor parking. Premier Parking is about 8 minutes from the terminal.
Of those at a medium distance, Ringway is my favourite. I didn’t spend nearly as long trying to find it as I did with Autostrong. When I’m coming to the airport from the north, I like parking at Airparks. Secure Parking is easy to get to, just off the M56 and M60 motorways, but you’ll lose any time you saved finding it in making the transfer to the airport. It can take 20 minutes in the best traffic conditions and in rush hour, you may not want to chance it.
All of the parking companies offer excellent, smooth service. A couple, like
Airparks, take a little longer for check-in. Autostrong gets things done quickly. I like being able to show my confirmation print out, drop off my keys and be on my way.
I like booking my parking in advance. It’s just one less thing I have to worry about when I’m travelling and the following sites make it easy to do in 5 minutes or less.
In fact using online sites to plan your trip is about the best advice I can give, don’t be afraid of them, they usually do offer the best deals, especially the aggregated ones that offer the best deals across all the available options. It makes it all some much more painless.
