Bushitler Derangement Syndrome - BDS

It is usually impossible to have a political discussion with anyone who has BDS. People suffering from BDS display disturbing signs of dementia; fantasia; ignorance and an age old favorite – historical rewritingosis. Blaming the world's ills on Bush, or inventing conspiracy theories to impugn via Bush, America and Israel, reveals more about the holder of such distorted ideas; than it does about any claim to veracity of such ideals. BDS is a significant mental disorder.

Why is BDS a danger? BDS has been an epidemic for some time now. It outpaces AIDS; globaloney warming-isis; cancer; and drunk driving as hazards to mental and physical health. BDS also has the incredible power to shape politics and society. If a significant percentage of BDS sufferers populate a given polity, they can change, derange, and falange political and societal discussion – to the negative. BDS is a toxic disease.

You know a person has BDS if any two of the following statements are emitted through their frontal speaking orifice:

1-Bush is really Bushitler
2-Bush is a war criminal
3-Bush's invasion of Iraq was illegal
4-Without Bush, Islam would be peaceful
5-Bush is creating a fascist state
6-Bush is creating a religious-fascist state
7-Bush manufactured 9-11 to achieve 5 and 6 above
8-Bush and Bin Laden are allies
9-Bush is managed by the Joos
10-Bush has destroyed the US economy
11-Bush is a racist who hates immigrants
12-Bush is stupid
13-Bush invaded Iraq because the Joos said to do it
14-Bush lied about WMD so he could invade Iraq and kill people

Why is BDS so dangerous? It is a reality distortion disease. BDS makes some ridiculously assertions. Take its first premise. It equates Bush with Hitler. It makes comparisons between the US and Nazi Germany. The same person will then paradoxically believe that Bush is really a Joo stooge, and that he invaded Iraq because the Joos said so. Or they will say that Bush is creating a religious fascism in the US.

BDS is premised primarily on three ideas. First, Bush is a Hitler who invented 9-11 to consolidate power and invade Iraq for oil. Second, Bush is stupid and is managed by other people, Joos included, who wish to dominate the world. Third, the US is an evil empire, immoral and decadent and Bush is emblematic of that rot.

All of these assertions are tripe, yet they receive media and educational coverage.

In Europe and Canada magazines typically portary Bush as a fascist. The attached image is from a Canadian magazine which asserts that in Iraq, Bush is the new Saddam Hussein – the former Iraqi dictator and President of the Nazified Baath Party. The connection is not hard to see. Bush you see, is actually a fascist. In Canada and Europe, universities are running many courses on American fascism – referencing the current war against fascistic Islam as proof of American fascism. These schools of un-enlightened thought tend to miss the irony of their own material.

BDS is a lethal disease because it causes the sufferer to lose perspective and intelligence. Bush, the GOP, the US, the Christian sects which support in part the Republican party have absolutely nothing in common with the elements which make up a fascist state. None. Fascism relies on ten key ideals [enunciated at length elsewhere on this site], and the US matches none of these.

The US does not own its media; does not own its economy; does not spend more than 3.5 % of GDP on the military; does not have a state religion or cult; does not have youth and social activist groups supporting one leader; does not have a racist or supremacist ideology built around one leader and one party; does not wage war for territorial gain; does not use terrorist militia to quell domestic dissent and does not subsume civil society into a one party state.

Islam however, in its state-political guise, does. BDS sufferers have targeted the wrong man, the wrong state and the wrong ideology.

This is the pure irony of BDS sufferers. Islam has murdered since 9-11 about 100.000 in Iraq; 200.000 to 400.000 in Darfur and 60.000 more around the world, and yet Bushitler is the fascist?

Muslims routinely engage in honor killings; violent demonstrations; rape; homicide attacks; and issue on the internet and in weekly sermons lectures about killing Jews and kaffirs and dominating the world; but somehow Bush is the new Hitler?

Islam shuts down free speech; sues authors and commentators who question Islam; denounce those who inquire as to what Islam really is all about; and yet Bushitler is the fascist?

Islam demands the melding of the church and state; 12th century Sharia Law; and pagan ritualisation using only Arabic, and yet Bush is the fascist who denies free will?

Interesting logic.

BDS is built on lies, illogic, fantasy and pure anti-Jew, anti-American racism. That is what BDS is truly about. BDS victims ignore the real tragedy taking place in the world – the replacement by degree, by pieces, by violence and by war of Western-inspired ideals, by a pre-modern paganism. Iraq and Afghanistan are slowly stabilising and will over time become Western models in a region of anti-modern fascism. 50 million people are becoming free. Yet Bushitler is the fascist. How does freeing Iraq for instance and allowing Iraqis to keep their own oil money, constitute fascist aggression?

How is Guantanamo Bay where Muslim prisoners caught fighting out of uniform, killing US soldiers compare with a Gulag? Surely Russian Gulag prisoners were not fed 3 times daily their preferred Muslim diet, allowed to pray, and given adequate hospital treatment? How is the limited use of torture compared to Nazi interrogation techniques in which the victim was tortured and if uncooperative simply killed? How is not signing a treaty on globaloney warming, which is an unscientific attempt to control the world's energy system by politicians and the UN, akin to denying the holocaust? How is, in other words, a rationally skeptical mind, equated with following a fascist cult? Shouldn't the charges be made, the other way around?

Some reasonably people can argue that waging war in the Middle East is a mistake. But to take that criticism and evolve it into BDS is a sign of some form of insanity. Making up stories to spew hate is counter productive. Bush is pro-immigration [the US border is a mess]; the economy is in good shape [contrary to media negativity]; the US has record levels of wealth; the Americans and mostly the Christians are by far the world's most generous donors to charities in the world; and American power is the keystone to maintain Western civilisation.

You might hate the US for many reasons – probably none of which makes sense and which reveal more about the bathos of your mentality then it does about reality. But to engage in extremist rhetoric and conflate your hatred of a man who had to respond to 9-11 and the rampage of Islamic fascism, with Hitler is simply pathetic. It illustrates the depths, the sad levels and the lack of erudition in our society – from the media to our schools and says nothing positive about the BDS sufferer.
