Chawle Ka Halwa

Ingredient: 100 Gram White Kidney Beans
50 Gram Almonds
125 Gram Sugar
3 Tablespoons Ghee
Pistachios (For Garnishing)
Saffron Strands (For Garnishing)
Method :
- Soak the almonds and beans separately for 1 hour.
- Remove the skin of both, and grind finely in a mixer (separately).
- Fry the beans in ghee in a kadai.
- Cook for 10 minutes on a low flame and then add the almond paste. Cook for 10 minutes more.
- On the other burner, mix sugar in 1 cup water and give it a boil.
- Mix this syrup in the beans paste and cook for 10 minutes more.
- Transfer in a serving dish, garnish with saffron, pistachios and serve hot.
