Onion Kachori

Ingredient:
250 grams flour
5 tablespoons oil
1 teaspoon salt
205 grams onion
4 tablespoons gram flour
teaspoons red chilli powder
2 teaspoons dry mango powder
¼ teaspoon asafoetida
1 teaspoon anidseeds (ground)
Salt to taste
Oil to fry
Method:

· Mix flour, salt and oil. Knead well and prepare a dough using water.
· Grate the onions and add 1 teaspoon of salt. After 15 minutes squeeze out the water.
· Heat 2 tablespoons of oil, add, asafoetida and fry onions in it.
· When onions turns golden brown, add aniseeds and gram flour. fry for 5 minutes on a low flame.
· Switch off the gas and add red chilli powder, dry mango powder and salt. The filling is ready.
· Divide the dough and the filling in 10 parts.
· Take one portion of the dough, flatten it with your palms, place one part of the filling in the center and fold the sides.
· Heat oil and fry the kachori on a low flame till golden brown.
